Is insurance accepted?
Dr. Katherine is considered an out-of-network health care provider for most major insurance companies. While compensation is due at the time of service, Dr. Katherine will provide you with a Superbill that you can then send to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. Most insurance companies reimburse anywhere from 50% to 80% of the fees for the services Dr. Katherine provides after your deductible has been met. The insurance company reimburses you by sending you a check via mail shortly after you submit your Superbill.
Please note that coaching services are not reimbursable, as they are not considered to be health care services. The primary foci of psychotherapy are identification, diagnosis, and treatment of mental and nervous disorders. The focus of coaching is development and implementation of strategies to reach client-identified goals of enhanced performance and personal satisfaction.
What is the cost for services?
Dr. Katherine’s fees vary depending on whether she is providing individual or group services. Also, if the services require travel the fees are different than if the services are provided in-house or via a secure on-line platform. Please contact Dr. Katherine so that she can provide you with the appropriate private pay fee.
How can I pay for my services?
Dr. Katherine accepts both cash, check, credit cards, and HSA cards. All payments must be made at the time the service.
What if I have to cancel an appointment?
There is a 48-hour cancellation notice required unless you and Dr. Katherine agree to some other cancellation time frame. All cancellations must be done by phone.
